Event Settings
The event editor page allows you to easily manage your event settings.
To edit your settings, go to Manage Events and select your event.
Options
Event Description
This is a short description of your event that is shown on various pages, and is used for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) which helps crawlers like Google find your event.
Event Organizer Name
This is the name of the company, or person organizing the event.
Event Start Date
This is the date and time that your event starts, in the timezone that's selected below.
Event End Time
This is the date and time that your event ends, in the timezone that's selected below.
Timezone
The page will automatically try to detect your timezone and select it. This is used when you update the event start or end date.
Show sidebar next to event pages
You can turn this feature off if you'd prefer that there's no sidebar next to your event pages.
Edit Main Event Page
This is a quick edit button for your main event page (also accessible via Edit Page).
Event Registration & Reminders
You can turn event registration and reminders off completely, make it required, or make it optional.
Redirect Unregistered Users To Custom Page
This option will redirect anyone who hasn't registered for your event to a custom page.
You can control and edit the content of this page to help encourage users to register for your event.
Event Calendar Settings
When someone registers for an event, they will see an option to add it to their calendar.
This is a short title and description of your event that will be added to the user's calendar if they use this option.
